Entrepreneurship to me isn’t just about creating successful startups - it is about creating sustainable, psychologically sound environments where founders, teams and ideas can thrive to make that change happen. I'm a Professor for Psychology of Entrepreneurship at the Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship and Head of Study for the MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship. I am also a board member at Meta Learn, a Danish Mental Health Company, and at IST University of Applied Science. Before joining DTU in 2015, I have been Assistant Professor for Entrepreneurship at the University of Bern (2011-2015), post-doctoral researcher at the chair for Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland (2009-2011), and visiting scholar at the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship at Queensland University for Technology (2013-2014). My research focusses on behavioral aspects of entrepreneurship including team dynamics, mental health and well-being, and entrepreneurial education. My research has received several awards and acknowledgements and been published in leading academic journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice & Journal of Business Venturing. I have taught Entrepreneurship, Technology Commercialization, International Management and Research Methods for more than 15 years on all levels ranging from undergraduates to PhD and MBA.
