Johan Wiklund is the Al Berg Chair and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, USA. In 2018 he was the Inaugural RMIT Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Australia. His research interests include entrepreneurship and mental health. He a leading authority in entrepreneurship research with more 100 articles appearing in leading entrepreneurship and management journals and over 26,000 citations. He is Editor-in-Chief for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, a premier entrepreneurship journal. A prolific advisor of Ph.D. students, he received the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division Mentor Award in 2011.

Carina Lomberg is Associate Professor at the Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship at DTU and Head of Studies for the MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship. Her research focusses on behavioral aspects of entrepreneurship including team dynamics, mental health and well-being, and entrepreneurial education. Her research has received several awards and acknowledgements and been published in leading academic journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice & Journal of Business Venturing.

Nominees should be U.S. citizens within 15 years of earning their doctorate, with outstanding academic achievements and leadership potential. Faculty from social and behavioral sciences are especially encouraged to apply. This award emphasizes young researchers' contributions to their field and their leadership potential.
